Instead of looking back at the
semester, let us look towards the future. We have now observed our cooperating
teachers for 100 hours, is there anything that you want to change when you take
over the classroom? Or.................are you going to keep everything the same? We have
talked a lot about different approaches and techniques, is there anything that
you want to add into your classroom's daily routine? What are some of your expectations for
next semester and what are some concerns that you might have? Let us discuss!

ReplyDeleteIn the classroom I have been placed in for students teaching, my cooperating teacher seems to have already set the tone. She runs a very structured yet successful classroom. The methods she uses for this class seem to work without a doubt. This makes me want to do the same for when I begin to takeover the classroom because this type of tone and structure is what the students seem to respond best to. It is important to take the approach that works best for the class, and her approach seems to be working best for them. Although I may not be an expert like her, I will try my best to follow in her foot steps.
